The Niagara Predators kicked off their 2024-2025 season this weekend with a pair of games. Friday night was our home opener against the Bradford Bulls. It was a back and fourth game with the Bulls tying it in the dying seconds to force overtime. The Predators prevailed in the shootout scoring on both of their attempts (Teterja and Bedic) while goaltender Daniel Rose stopped both Bulls shooters to secure the win. On Saturday the Preds travelled to North York to face off against the Renegades. The Predators evened the game at 2 late in the first period and took a 3-2 lead early in the second but couldnt hold on and ended up losng to the Renegades 6-3. The Predators are back in action next Friday at home against the St. George Ravens. Puck drop is 7:30 sharp.
